For many living here at the Beach, you may not be familiar with the Taste of Chelem (as our last event was in 2020 prior to the pandemic). We like to describe the event as a street fair, with 3 terrific Live Bands, local Food Vendors selling tasting plates, Cold Drinks for purchase, and a Silent Auction.
All proceeds go to fund the Chelem Apoyo Escolar program supporting the Chelem Public Library and the Chelem area School Facilities.
We hope you will join us on November 13, 2022 for a fabulous community event!

Chelem Apoyo Supporting the Elementary School by Providing Trash Cans
The Chelem elementary school recently got some much needed repairs. We asked what the school now needs and the directora said that all of the trash cans in the class rooms were removed and not returned. So we decided to purchase new trash cans. Funds for things like this come from donations and events to the Chelem Apoyo Escolar program. Thank you for your donations!

Distributing school supplies to Chelem students and picture taking day at the Bullpen! Thanks to all our wonderful sponsors and volunteers who helped make this happen. School doesn’t start for a few more weeks. If you would like to sponsor a child: $2,100 MXD to sponsor grade 4-6, $2,800 grades 7-9, and $3,900 grades 10-12.
